During my recent visit to Bunbulan Panorama Bed & Breakfast, I found myself contemplating the balance between luxury and value. Nestled near Mount Batur, the views are, without a doubt, a highlight. I awoke each day to breathtaking landscapes, a morning ritual that felt almost sacred. While the views are stunning, the accommodations left something to be desired. The room I stayed in lacked air conditioning and was met with an unwelcome assortment of insects. The bathroom's sanitation standards were concerning, which detracted from the overall comfort of my stay. The staff's hospitality was commendable. They efficiently arranged transportation to explore the picturesque Kintamani area and provided free Wi-Fi, which worked consistently despite the remote location. What struck me was the restaurant's offerings and the availability of an electric kettle in the room, adding value to the experience, particularly for those who enjoy a hot beverage while taking in the morning mist. So, while the views and warmth from the staff are appealing, be prepared to trade some luxury for those essentials.
